Kiehl's Nightly Refining Micro-Peel Concentrate

Image
Kiehl's Nightly Refining Micro-Peel Concentrate When it comes to peels,  I am very particular about what I use on my face. The products have to be gentle and still powerful enough to get the work done. When I saw this new product from Kiehl's, I was curious. Unfortunately, they had run out of samples... So, I had to rely on the reviews available online and word of mouth. After much research and consideration, I gave in and bought this bottle worth INR 4700.  The salespeople at Kiehl's are very well informed and educated of the products they are selling...I just love the way they handle the clients. As a sales person myself, I understand the importance of KYC - Know Your Customer. You pick any segment - be it hotels or beauty or fashion or health or insurance...you have to Know who your customer is, and what they need. So after the initial qualification, I was sure I need this weapon to protect my skin. What is Kiehl's Nightly Refining Micro-Peel Concen...

What's in my Bag!

Image
Let me start with telling you how sorry I am for missing out on blogs in the past one month!!! I was really tied up and had absolutely no time for anything...let alone blogging! :(  So I will make up for the lost time and (try to) write as many blogs as I can in this week. This blog is about the awesome stuff I carry in my bag, every weekday! It has my Weekday essentials that I just can't do without. I am a huge Sunscreen fan - For me, it is more of a necessity rather than a luxury. After I have cleansed, toned and moisturised my skin, I apply a heavy dose of Sunscreen. Currently my favourite is this Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Sunscreen in SPF 40 . It is a 3-in-1 Matte Look Daily Sunblock. The best thing is that it is a Tinted Sunscreen with sheer coverage. I apply two layers of this sunscreen for protection as well as coverage. So after using it , all I really need is a Concealer for my dark circles.  My rating - 4 / 5 - Minus 1 for coverage. I wish it had more ...

I feel Empty!

Image
I have been wanting to write this blog since last week...specially over the weekend. Well that was the plan! Another plan was hosting a party at home on Saturday...(that too on a working Saturday). Well...the party was super fun! We had my friends, my husband's friends and our common friends...;) (that's an inside joke..haha). Sunday was lazy lazy...Then came Monday...For me, Mondays are always BLAH! But this time, I tried to make the most out of it...I had some ME time...so I watched a movie...did my nails...cooked dinner (that does not qualify as part of my ME time stuff but still..)...and I slept well. Anyways, by now we have established the fact that I am lazy and I love my ME Time. Now lets get back to the serious stuff. This blog is about the empties challenge!  Last to last month, I challenged myself to first finish off the products I have and then buy new ones! So I have touched rock bottom on these 5 products and thought of sharing my reviews with you guy...

What do you do when you are stressed out? I go shopping!

Image
The past couple of days have been somewhat stressful and hectic for me...I have been trying to think positive and act all happy and hopeful! One of my tried and tested stress-buster is shopping...even window shopping at times! The other day, I went to the mall for lunch, I came across Innisfree.  I knew it is a Korean Skincare - Makeup brand. The thing that caught my attention was the Mask Sheets....priced between INR 100 - INR 300. After spending almost 10-15 minutes going through the diverse product range, I thought of reading some online reviews before buying anything (P.S. I am trying to not be an impulsive buyer). So, I read and read! Turns out, it is the thing I have been running after. You know by now that I love investing in skincare products and the world goes gaga over Korean Skincare for some really valid reasons. The reviews for this AFFORDABLE Korean Skincare Brand were amazing specially for the Mask Sheets and the Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask.  ...

I have come to realise that Facial Mists have become my besties! If you have to step out in the sun, then you will understand what I mean. Facial mists are no more a luxury. They are more of a necessity in this scorching summer heat! So today, I thought of listing my favourite facial mists for you! How I Remove my Makeup + My Night Time Skin Care Routine!!!

Image
Its been a great day today...the weather is good...I got some really important things done at work...there was no traffic today (wow)....Overall it has been a good day! AND the best part....the weekend is here! So today, I am writing about my second favourite part of the day - Removing Makeup. The first is obviously dressing up.. ;) Now I don't like using lot of products...lot of products means lot of chemicals. The idea is to keep things simple and natural specially when it comes to the skin. Therefore, I only use Makeup removers when I am wearing hell lot of makeup. Otherwise, removing makeup is a simple process (you will see...). I believe, your skin must benefit in the overall process and not end up feeling dry or irritated. I am going to list my Holy Grail makeup remover and some excellent alternatives to makeup removers which not only remove makeup but also pamper the skin at the same time. Lovely, isn't it? Lets get started... There are 2 ways o...

My Morning Makeup Routine

Image
Well, before I start, I really want to thank you all for the support...I received couple of messages from friends (of course) and some likes from people I didn't even know...It is really encouraging! So I want to take a moment to thank you all!! :) Ok...back to the blog now...This pic I am referring for the Makeup Look has more of a natural look. It is easy and hardly takes 5 minutes! One thing you should know about me is...I LOVE MAKEUP. So trust me when I say that using a lot of makeup everyday is not good. Even though I am a makeup addict, I try to use less makeup as compared to skin care products. During the day, I like a minimum makeup look...as natural as possible, unless I feel otherwise (mood swings). Now that my face is moisturized, I start with the eyes. I have horrible dark circles. To cover them up, I first go with the Bobbi Brown Color Corrector in Medium to Dark Bisque and then after patting it on the skin, I go over it with my Maybelline Instant Age Rewin...
