My Morning Makeup Routine

Well, before I start, I really want to thank you all for the support...I received couple of messages from friends (of course) and some likes from people I didn't even know...It is really encouraging! So I want to take a moment to thank you all!! :)

Ok...back to the blog now...This pic I am referring for the Makeup Look has more of a natural look. It is easy and hardly takes 5 minutes!

One thing you should know about me is...I LOVE MAKEUP. So trust me when I say that using a lot of makeup everyday is not good. Even though I am a makeup addict, I try to use less makeup as compared to skin care products.

During the day, I like a minimum makeup look...as natural as possible, unless I feel otherwise (mood swings).
  • Now that my face is moisturized, I start with the eyes. I have horrible dark circles. To cover them up, I first go with the Bobbi Brown Color Corrector in Medium to Dark Bisque and then after patting it on the skin, I go over it with my Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer in Medium. I also use the concealer on the corner of my nose to tackle the redness. Mostly, I use my fingers to pat the product but if required, I go over it with a damp sponge by ColorBar - Blend Away Foundation Sponge Wheel. The final step here is to set it with a Powder so it doesn't crease. I skip the Liquid foundation / BB / CC Cream and instead use the Powder Foundation by Mac.

  • Next step is to groom the eye brows. I fill in the sparse areas using the Maybelline Fashion Brow Duo Shaper in Gray and set it with a clear brow gel from The Body Shop.

  • Next I apply Liner on my eyes (not a wing, as I am still working on perfecting the wing), followed by Mascara. I try to smudge the liner so it doesn't feel like one harsh line on my eyes.

  • No look is complete without lipstick and some blush. Right now I am going gaga over Milani Baked Blushes...I applied Mac Minerlize lipstick very lightly for a stained effect. And to finish the look, I sprayed a facial mist from The Body Shop for a dewy look.
