My Seasonal Besties!
I have come to realise that Facial Mists have become my besties! If you have to step out in the sun, then you will understand what I mean. Facial mists are no more a luxury. They are more of a necessity in this scorching summer heat!
So today, I thought of listing my favourite facial mists for you!
Before listing my favourites, let me share the reason why you would LOVE to INVEST on this product.
Now you why I love Facial Mists! Read on for notes on my favourite facial mists!
1. Hayasan Rose Limited Edition Facial Mist - Forest Essential
My ultimate favourite Facial Mist for Summers is Hayasan Rose Limited Edition Facial Mist from Forest Essential. I fell in love with this mist the minute I tried it at the Forest Essential Saket outlet at Select Citywalk. It smells of fresh roses (wait...did I tell you I heart roses...yes..I wholeheartedly do!). The consistency is light and does not sit on your skin. I spray it everyday in my office washroom and by the time I reach my work station which is hardly 10-15 steps, the mist has been absorbed by my skin leaving a subtle glow! And did I mention, I use this product multiple times in a day..atleast during day time and still it does not feel like its sitting on my skin. Other than the fragrance and the freshness part, its a good alternative to makeup setting sprays.
Will I repurchase this product? I really really want to but since it is Limited Edition I don't know how long will it be on the shelves.
PS: They also have another product in this range - Facial Tonic Mist in Bella. I have not yet tried this one. Let me know your reviews if you own this!
2. Facial Tonic Mist Pure Rosewater - Forest Essential
On the same line, I also love the Facial Tonic Mist Pure Rosewater again from Forest Essential. The Rosewater helps in cooling, soothing and moisturising the skin. I usually apply this one when I wake up and my skin is feeling dry or I mix it with Multani Mitti and make a face pack.
Will I repurchase this product? MAYBE / MAYBE NOT. I have been trying Dabur Gulabari by diluting it with water. If it works out well, I may not repurchase this one.
Next on the list is the Vitamin E Hydrating Face Mist from The Body Shop. If you have read my blogs, you would know I have used this product a lot. I got my hands on this one last winter. I went to TBS with my friend and noticed this spray. My skin is usually very dry during winters and this mist looked perfect on my skin. It moisturizes really well, it is infused with Vitamin E to provide natural antioxidants to protect against sun and pollution. It is Paraben Free (although I did read some articles saying that it has parabens...TBS has to clarify that for us)..It goes well with the TBS Vitamin E oil in Serum as well as the TBS Vitamin E Illuminating Moisture Cream.
BUT.......the problem is that I am not able to bring myself to use this mist during summers. I was using it just fine until March and then one day I wake up and get ready and use this product and...SURPRISE...it has gained weight or something! Literally, it started to feel like something is sitting on my skin...in this summer season! Imagine my disappointment...So I stocked it up and now I am waiting for winters so I can go back to using it!
Will I repurchase this product? YES but in WINTERS! Once I finish this one.
And last but not the least...we have our most expensive baby in the list....MAC Fix Plus. There are no brownie points to guess this one.
YES, it is expensive but what to do..it is MAC Fix Plus. So when I went to the MAC counter and asked them for a setting spray, and they sprayed Fix Plus on my skin which (truth be told) felt like a breath of fresh air.
As per the description of the product it is a lightweight mist of water packed with vitamins and minerals which have been infused with a blend of chamomile, green tea, cucumber to gently soothe and refresh the skin. It lives up to its expectation...it really refreshes the skin and adds an instant glow to the makeup. How is it different from other Facial / Makeup sprays you ask? Well, it depends on the usage....There are multiple ways to use it. I use it to set my foundation and concealer, then I spray Fix Plus on my Brush before picking up eye shadow so the pigmentation stands out and intensifies the eye look.

Will I repurchase this product? I don't think so. Keeping in mind the other facial mists at almost half the price, I would not want to spend a grand on MAC Fix Plus.
Let me know your favourite Facial Mists!
Next I am going to post about my HAUL...Can you guess the brand?
Love & Luck,
Kanica
