What do you do when you are stressed out? I go shopping!

The past couple of days have been somewhat stressful and hectic for me...I have been trying to think positive and act all happy and hopeful! One of my tried and tested stress-buster is shopping...even window shopping at times!

The other day, I went to the mall for lunch, I came across Innisfree. 

I knew it is a Korean Skincare - Makeup brand. The thing that caught my attention was the Mask Sheets....priced between INR 100 - INR 300. After spending almost 10-15 minutes going through the diverse product range, I thought of reading some online reviews before buying anything (P.S. I am trying to not be an impulsive buyer).

So, I read and read! Turns out, it is the thing I have been running after. You know by now that I love investing in skincare products and the world goes gaga over Korean Skincare for some really valid reasons. The reviews for this AFFORDABLE Korean Skincare Brand were amazing specially for the Mask Sheets and the Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask. 

Lets get started with the Haul!

By the way...What is Innisfree...you ask?

Innisfree is a South Korean cosmetics brand owned by Amore Pacific and is one of the very few Korean brands that uses organic ingredients specified by France's ECOCERT Organization.

What did I get from Innisfree?

I bought 9 products in two visits.

In the last two weeks, I have tried these five products so I am in a position to share a review with you!

1. Innisfree Skin Clinic Mask in Peptide - Bought this because of the Wrinkle care claim...

    

What is it supposed to do? 

The main objective for this mask sheet is Wrinkle care. It contains peptides and adenosine that helps with skin revitalization and skin firming. 

How to use? 

1. After cleansing, apply toner to refine the skin texture.

2. Next step just separate the film from the mask and gently and evenly adhere the mask to the entire face avoiding eye and lip area.

3. Remove the sheet in about 15-20 minutes and gently pat the skin so that the remaining formula is absorbed. 

What it actually did and how did my skin feel?

My skin felt super moisturised, fresh, glowey, soft... The essense feels good on the skin. There is a clinic(ky) smell but not overpowering. I did massage my face and neck after removing the mask sheet. I didnot feel like applying my facial oil thereafter and just applied my Clinique eye cream and dozed off. My skin did feel revitalised. But in my honest opinion, it is too soon to tell if it helps in firming. You can't judge that in just one use!

Will I repurchase?

Yes. Although my wrinkles don't show but using this mask once a month is a good idea.

2. Innisfree Green Tea Mineral Mist - This was an impulsive purchase!

What is it supposed to do? 

It should soothe the skin and provide hydration. The bonus point is that you can apply it with and / or without makeup. 

How to use? 

1. After cleansing, close your eyes and spray an appropriate amount. 

2. Wait for 2-5 seconds to let your skin absorb the product.

What it actually did and how did my skin feel?

My skin felt refreshed. The green tea fragrance is yummy and feels clean. I sometimes spray it before applying my facial oil and still it gives a pretty good hydration to the skin. On makeup, it gives a dewy finish. What else can I ask for?

Will I repurchase?

Yes, I will. The only thing I didnot quite like is the packaging. It comes in a tin bottle and feels heavy in the bag.

3. Innisfree Wine Jelly Sleeping Pack - I bought this after a lot of research.

What is it supposed to do? 

It creates a jelly like skin feel and provides hydration, anti-oxidation, smoothens skin, leaves a supple and firm looking skin.

How to use? 

1. After cleansing, use a small amount and work it up on the face. 

2. Next step is to massage the face until it is absorbed completely.

What it actually did and how did my skin feel?

I have used this sleeping mask total of 4 nights in a row. Upon application, you should massage the product so it is absorbed in the skin. I did notice a certain level of firmness after using this product. My skin feels tight and firm in a nourishing and hydrating way. It doesn't pull the skin and that's what I love about this product. 

Will I repurchase?

Yes, Yes, Yes!

4. Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask - I also got a sample for this mask which I have started using. This picture below is the actual product that I paid for.

What is it supposed to do? 

This is a 6-in-1 mask.

-> Shrinks pores + Controls sebum + Exfoliates + Deeply cleanses + Brightens tone + Cools

How to use? 

1. After cleansing and toning, apply the mask over your entire face, avoiding the eyes and lip area. 

2. Let it dry for 10 minutes.

3. Wash off with lukewarm water and pat dry.

What it actually did and how did my skin feel?

On the plus side, my skin felt tight after applying this mask. It did help in deep cleansing and leaving the skin soft, supple and bright. It did help in minimizing pores. But the down side is that it did not help in removing black heads or white heads. It is also a bit drying on the skin. You really need to moisturise after applying the face pack. 

Will I repurchase?

May be / May be not!

5. Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Nose Pack - I bought it for my husband!

What is it supposed to do? 

The Jeju volcanic clay treats pores by removing blackheads and other impurities embedded deep in the skin.

How to use? 

1. After cleansing, thoroughly wet your nose and apply the mask to the centre of your nose and gently press it on the sides.

2. Let it completely dry for 10-15 minutes and gently remove from the sides first.

3. Apply toner.

What it actually did and how did my (husband's) skin feel?

Well, I don't really have many blackheads as I have a habit of exfoliating quite often. I actually bought this for my darling husband who has some blackheads on his nose and refuses to extract. We followed the steps as listed and waited and prayed for 15 minutes. But all in vain. It did absolutely nothing. His blackheads are still shining on his nose and I am still researching how to remove blackheads in a painless way. 

Will I repurchase?

No. No. No.
