First Day of Blogging...

So today I have finally decided to blog. I created the profile some months back and have been procrastinating about writing since then.

Anyways, I am Kanica! Hope you are doing well! Welcome to my Blog!

Last Monday when I was getting ready for work, I actually stopped for a minute and really went through my Morning Skincare Routine and realised that I have been doing some really stupid stuff (no judging pls..).

So the point I missed out was to stop confusing my skin by using multiple products all at once! Since last week, I have been using one product for face wash, one product for toning, etc..and it has started working wonders already.

The Beauty gurus have not been lying!!! My skin did feel better from inside and is thanking me for making things really simple.

So let me list down my Morning Skin Care Routine for you all...
  • You must know I have dry skin with an oily T- zone.
  • First things first, I like to wash my face right after I am out of the bed. So I have been using the Bioderma Sebium Foaming Gel. My dermatologist recommended it. She said it will clean the face very gently and help in purifying the epidermis.Whatever that means...but its a good product.

  • The second step is Toning. I have been using the Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2. Now I like this toner a lot...lot...lot, but if you have sensitive skin, then you might want to get a sample before buying it.

  • Next, I apply my Facial Oil... I have been using Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil from The Body Shop as my night serum as well as the day serum..no big deal using the same product in the morning as well (at least it suits me). I let it sink into my skin while I cook breakfast.

  • Once the Serum has been absorbed by my skin, its time for the Sun Screen. I have been using LaRoche Posay Anthelios SPF 50 (again recommended by the Dermatologist). They also have a tinted variant of the same product. I got this one as the Tinted one was out of stock! I apply a very thin layer of the product because the consistency is kind of thick and if I over apply, it forms a white film on my face and neck, which makes me look really funny.

  • Final step in the Skin care routine is the Lip Balm. I use any lip balm in front of me. Today I applied the one from Forest Essential - Kokum Butter and Honey.
